Non-Medical Support Services

Non-Medical Support Services provide encouragement, companionship, and routine-based support that promotes independence, safety, and meaningful participation within home and community settings. Services are delivered using a person-centered approach that respects individual choice, preferences, and abilities.

Support may include:

• Encouragement with daily routines and activities
• Community participation and social engagement
• Encouragement of independence and skill development
• Support during outings and recreational activities
• Reinforcement of safe and healthy habits

Services are provided in alignment with approved service plans and applicable guidelines, with a focus on dignity, consistency, and respect for individual rights.

Non-Medical Support Services do not include hands-on personal care or medical services.
